Bodies of Covid victims are burned in funeral pyres

India recorded a massive surge of 332,730 Covid-19 cases and 2,263 deaths, the highest single-day spike. The second wave of the pandemic in the country is stressing on health sector as well as burial and cremation facilities. Bodies of Covid victims are burned in funeral pyres at a cremation ground in Mumbai on Friday.
