Thousands of supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro, who has been under probe over allegedly attempting to start a coup since late of 2022, gathered on Paulista Boulevard in the capital Sao Paulo to protest the allegations.
Bolsonaro described the protest in question as “a peaceful assembly for the rule of law, freedom, families and the future.”
Bolsonaro’s passport was confiscated earlier this year.
