A bomb attack was carried out on a police vehicle during a polio vaccination drive in the Bajaur district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The attack killed 5 officers and left nearly 20 others injured. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Some polio vaccination workers and security officials were attacked by the Pakistani Taliban previously.
