A bomb detonated as a police vehicle passed in Tlajomulco, Jalisco, Mexico, resulting in the death of six officers and injuries to twelve others. The State Governor, Enrique Alfaro, identified the incident as a terrorist act perpetrated by an organized crime group. The police were reportedly acting on an anonymous tip about several bodies in the area when they were ambushed. In response, an operation involving federal authorities has been initiated to apprehend the perpetrators.
