An explosion near the Miryan Police Station in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, killed two people, including a child, and injured at least 14 others. Police said a homemade explosive device placed on a motorcycle detonated near the station’s main gate.
Authorities cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. Bannu District Police Chief Sajjad Khan said no security personnel were harmed, while provincial governor Faisal Karim Kundi condemned the attack.
