The death toll from the floods and landslides in Bosnia and Herzegovina has risen to 26 after search teams discovered another body in Donja Jablanica. The floods, which struck central and southern regions on October 4, have caused widespread destruction. Search efforts for a missing person in Konjic’s Buturovic Polje continue. While electricity has been restored, repairs to water and phone networks are ongoing. Over 1,000 volunteers are assisting in recovery efforts. A mass funeral for 19 victims in Jablanica will be led by Bosnia’s Islamic Union President Huseyin Efendi Kavazovic today.
