At least 4 children killed and 4 others injured in an attack with an ax and a knife at a kindergarten in Blumenau, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. Police arrested the 25-year-old male suspect. Police told that suspect had jumped over a wall into the care center before attacking the children.
Governor Jorhginho Mello of Santa Catarina declared three days of mourning.
