Brazil Election Heads to Runoff

The Brazilian presidential election is heading to a second round after no candidate secured the required 50% of the vote. Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, took the lead in the first round with 47.45% of the votes. He will face incumbent President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who secured 44.66%, in a runoff on October 25.
