A bridge that had been under construction since December collapsed in the Wugu district of Taiwan’s capital, Taipei. Authorities reported that three workers were injured in the accident and were being treated at the hospital.
The new Taipei High Riverbank Construction Management Office said the bridge, which was opened 17 years ago, was being repaired due to heavy corrosion, and work is scheduled to be completed in August.
