A British man who went missing 2.5 years ago was detained in Turkey after his identity was revealed. Joshua Toussaint, 25, who lives in the coastal city of Brighton and Hove in the UK and left his home one day to go to a doctor’s appointment, was never heard from again. UK media wrote about the incident after he went missing at the time.
The man was later found exhausted by the security forces in the western Turkish city of Tekirdağ. Investigations confirmed the identity of the man after his detainment. He was handed over to Tekirdağ Provincial Immigration Administration to be deported back to the UK. According to reports, Joshua stayed in Turkey illegally up to now after entering and leaving Turkey before.
