Brown bears become frequent visitors to city centre in Turkey’s Tunceli

Tunceli’s Pülümür district in Turkey has an exceptionally rich nature in terms of wildlife. Wild animals occasionally visit the district center, which is home to many wildlife, particularly lynx, wolf, and bear. Brown bears are the most visible of the district’s wild animals. Brown bears, who are in need of food, visit the district center almost every day. The bears then return to the forest area, fed by animal offal and food left by residents.
