Buffaloes Bathe in Hot Springs in Bitlis, Türkiye

Buffaloes and horses were brought to Budaklı Hot Springs in the Güroymak district of Bitlis, eastern Türkiye, for cleaning during winter, creating striking scenes. The animals calmly stood in the steaming thermal waters despite freezing temperatures, drawing the attention of photographers.

Local breeder Muhammed Furkan Aylu said they bring the buffaloes to the hot springs weekly or biweekly in winter to clean them and help increase milk production. The thermal site, known for its natural beauty, once again became a focal point where daily life and nature intersect.
