Buffaloes Cooling Off in Eastern Türkiye Resemble Tanzania

Water buffaloes bathing in a stream in Söğütlü village, Erzurum, offer a scene reminiscent of Tanzania’s Serengeti. The village, known for cabbage farming and its fish lake, is also famous for its buffalo milk, yogurt, and cheese. Amid rising temperatures, local farmers urge authorities to prioritize water access for the animals to sustain this traditional livelihood.
