At least six people were killed and seven others injured after two residential buildings collapsed in Tripoli, a northern city in Lebanon. The incident occurred in the Bab Tabbaneh neighborhood, prompting the deployment of multiple search and rescue teams.
Tripoli Mayor Abdul Hamid Karimeh said people remain trapped under the rubble and rescue operations are ongoing. Lebanese media reported that 22 people lived in the two buildings, with four survivors pulled out alive so far.
