After the earthquake that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, aid is pouring in from foreign countries to Türkiye. A first batch of 70 containers constructed in Bulgaria at the initiative of the Turkish Embassy in Sofia set off to be shipped by train to Türkiye.
“We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Top House company, which spends all of its energy meeting the emergency shelter needs of our earthquake victims, and to the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport and Communications, which mobilizes the Bulgarian State Railways for the shipment of containers,” the embassy said in a statement.
