Hundreds of tourists formed long vehicle queues at the customs entrances and exits on the Bulgarian-Turkish border gate. Citizens of Bulgaria, who prefer the Kapıkule Border Gate to enter Türkiye, continue their shopping in Edirne where they can meet all of their needs, from clothing to food.
Some of them prefer Antalya, Istanbul, and other holiday destinations in Türkiye for New Year celebrations. Bulgarians, on the other hand, form long vehicle queues at the Kapıkule Border Gate on their way back from Edirne.
