A passenger bus, carrying 35, fell into the Mansuriya canal in the north of Egypt’s Dakahliyah province. According to the latest statement of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, the number of people who lost their lives in the accident increased to 24. Search and rescue efforts continue in the area.
Authorities said that the families of those who lost their lives in the accident will be paid $4,000 in compensation.
Egyptian media stated that the accident occurred due to a steering failure.
