Çakmak Plateau Mesmerizes Visitors

 

Perched at an altitude of 1,400 meters in Malatya’s Arguvan district, Çakmak Plateau captivates visitors with its striking rock formations, vibrant plateau flowers, and distinctive houses. Bülent Çakmakçı, headman of Çakmak Neighborhood, highlighted the district’s reputation as the city’s grain warehouse and its rich tradition of local folk songs. He emphasized the plateau’s unforgettable scenery and natural beauty, likening its colorful rock formations to Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys.

Halil Durak, headman of Arapgir Sugeçti Neighborhood, praised Çakmak Plateau for its pristine air and unique atmosphere, comparing its natural allure to that of the Black Sea region. He encouraged both local and foreign tourists to explore this remarkable destination.
