A Cambodian soldier illegally passed the border between Cambodia and Thailand, that is located in Sa Kaeo province via his vehicle.
Thai police stopped the suspicious man by bursting the vehicle’s tire with their weapon. Getting out of the vehicle with a gun, the soldier was caught by the police after an operation that lasted for about 4 hours.
Police Chief Chaipotjan Suwannarak stated that the incident was not suspected of to be an act of terrorism and the suspect was taken into custody.
