Çameli XC Open 2023 Paragliding Preliminary World Cup championship has ended

The 9th iteration of the XC Open 2023 Paragliding Preliminary World Cup Championship, held at the 2140-meter-high Çameli Yaylacık Paragliding Runway, has ended. A total of 101 pilots, 73 of whom were from 18 different countries, competed in the races organized on Yaylacık Mountain, a sought-after spot for nature sports due to its physical structure. The six-day championship, during which numerous colorful and exciting moments were experienced, concluded with an award ceremony.

Çameli Mayor Cengiz Arslan stated that they plan to organize 3–4 flight events here every year and that their 2024 goal is to hold the World Cup in Çameli. Following his speech, the officials presented the awards to the competitors who ranked highest in the races.
