A Cameroon-flagged dry cargo ship named Pallada ran aground and collided with the breakwater off the coast of Ereğli district in Türkiye’s Zonguldak province yesterday due to a severe storm. Following the evacuation of the 13 personnel aboard using ropes, the ship split in two and sank into the waters. The crew, who experienced panic during the incident, underwent necessary medical checks and were reported to be in good health.
