canadan authorities order evacuation in halifax due to wildfires

Wildfires that have started in Halifax, Canada’s Nova Scotia province, continue to spread. Canadian authorities have ordered residents to evacuate Bedford, Nova Scotia, in case the fire grows and ammonia leaks. More than 16,000 people have been evacuated, and nearly 200 houses have been damaged in the region.

Thousands of people had to leave their homes due to the fire that broke out in Canada’s Alberta province earlier this month. Nearly 400 homes were evacuated over the weekend in the country’s New Brunswick province.
