From January to July 2023, Cappadocia, Türkiye, known for its iconic fairy chimneys, drew 2.36 million domestic and international visitors to its museums and archaeological sites. The most popular attractions were the Göreme Open Air Museum, Zelve ruins, and the Kaymaklı underground city.
