Cappadocia Blanketed in Snow

Cappadocia, a key tourism hub in Türkiye, transformed into a picturesque winter landscape with recent snowfall. The region, drawing around 5 million tourists annually, showcases its unique charm in winter, attracting both local and international visitors. Famous for fairy chimneys, natural rock formations, and captivating valleys, Cappadocia’s scenic beauty was further enhanced by the fresh snow, creating postcard-like images visible from a drone. Popular spots like Göreme, Ürgüp, Zelve-Paşabağları, Çavuşin, and Uçhisar became the backdrop for numerous photos taken by tourists, capturing the enchanting white landscape. Liu Hong, a visitor from China, expressed delight at the unexpected snow scene, praising the beauty of Cappadocia’s valleys and the impressive Uçhisar Castle, which stood out even more against the snow-covered surroundings.
