Cappadocia to welcome thousands visitors on New Year’s Eve

Cappadocia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, expects over 35,000 tourists on New Year’s Eve. The famed place was quiet last year due to the pandemic. Turkish tourists who were unable to travel abroad due to restrictions in many European countries chose Cappadocia as their destination. The occupancy rate in Cappadocia reached a hundred percent due to tourists who booked months in advance. Turkish and international tourists who waited until the last minute to book their accommodations were unable to find a place to stay.
