A car bomb attack killed 10 people and injured two others at a security checkpoint in the Bajaur region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan, near the Afghan border. The blast destroyed the checkpoint, leaving some security personnel trapped under the rubble.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing, and authorities have not identified those responsible. Provincial Chief Minister Sohail Afridi condemned the attack.
