A 69-meter dry cargo ship travelling from Balıkesir’s Marmara Island to Bursa’s Gemlik district in Türkiye, sank in the Marmara Sea with its crew of 6 people. Rescue teams sent to the area found an empty life raft.
It was noted that search helicopters could not take off due to weather conditions.
