Cat rescued from rubble 164 hours after earthquake

During the search and rescue efforts that are carried out in the disaster zones formed after the severe earthquakes that hit Türkiye’s Mediterranean region, teams rescued a cat after hearing its voice from a collapsed 6-story building in the Defne district of Hatay.

After 2 hours of effort to reach it, the cat was removed from the rubble, where it spent 164 hours after the earthquake. After being given water, the cat was taken to a vet for a checkup.
