A pickup truck collided with a passenger bus on the M-5 highway near the Rukanpur district of Rahim Yar Khan in the Punjab province of eastern Pakistan. Following the accident, another vehicle hit the bus from behind. Regional police, Rizwan Umar Gondal, reported that 13 people died at the scene and 20 were injured. An investigation was launched into the incident.
