Stocland’s Celtic Football Club has banned fans who displayed Palestinian flags during a UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid from attending their home matches. The decision, directed at season ticket holders, was made in response to the flag-waving incident. Celtic had previously been fined for similar actions by the ‘Green Brigade’ fan group, and further disciplinary penalties from UEFA are expected.
