Forty-six vehicles collided with each other on the Ohio Turnpike Road in the US state of Ohio due to icing and low visibility, killing 4. Vehicles were towed with the help of construction machines and the road was reopened after 7 hours of work.
Due to the ongoing snowstorm in the USA, disruptions in air transportation continue. According to flight tracking site FlightAware.com, the number of canceled flights has exceeded 5,700. The storm, which affected great part of the country, left nearly 1 million homes and businesses in east and Texas without power.
