The iconic Champs-Elysees Street in Paris became the site of a grand picnic event attended by approximately 4,000 people. The street was adorned with a red and white cloth, making a festive atmosphere for the attendees. Despite 273,000 applications for the free and public event, participants were selected randomly through a draw on May 21.
Eight kitchens were set up along the street, providing a variety of food options for the picnickers who enjoyed the sunny weather.
