A newborn chick that lost its life after being accidentally stepped on by its mother was brought back to life by the grandson of its owner, Esma Yıldıztekin with heart massage and CPR in a village of Erzurum’s Oltu district
“This morning at the farm, my grandmother gave me a dead chick. The chick had just hatched but she said it wasn’t alive. When I looked at the chick, I saw a small movement and I gave it a heart massage and CPR, thinking it might live. Afterwards, the chick came to and returned to its siblings. We experienced the joy of saving a life. I want to remind you how important first aid is and that everyone should learn this information,” said Oğuz Akyüz, the person who saved the chick.
