Children in Türkiye Marched for Palestinian Peers on World Children’s Rights Day

Hundreds of children marched for Palestinian children in Karabük, Türkiye, on November 20, World Children’s Rights Day.

Noting that 16,795 children, including 171 babies, were killed in Palestine, over 9,000 children were injured, and countless others were left without parents, Belinay Özbay, Karabük Children’s Rights Provincial Children’s Committee Representative, said, “As the children of the Republic of Türkiye, with the strength and courage we derive from our faith and glorious past, we will never forget this shameful picture that children are experiencing today. We will build the ground that will ensure that all children truly use all of their rights without discrimination.”
