China reopens borders after 3 years

China reopened its borders, which had been closed since the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, today. The country demands that a negative test result of the last 48 hours be submitted at the border entrance but passengers will no longer be taken to central quarantine points thanks to the new regulations.

With the resumption of sea and road traffic between China and Hong Kong, many passengers flocked to airports to travel from Hong Kong to China.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport will welcome 2,000 passengers with 14 flights today,
