After a civilian team of 8 people previously sent to provide support to the search and rescue efforts in the disaster areas in Türkiye, China is sending a search and rescue team of 82 personnel. The Chinese team has set off from the Beijing Capital Airport with the materials and equipment to be used in the search operations.
Authorities announced that the Chinese government has decided to provide financial aid to Türkiye. Along with the 40 million yuan (5.8 million dollars) worth of aid, emergency supplies will also be sent to the country.
