China’s Harbin Ice Festival Features Mass Wedding

 

The 41st Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival, held in China’s Heilongjiang province, showcased dazzling displays of ice art and festive activities.

Amid breathtaking sculptures spread across a 1-million-square-meter area, 42 couples from 17 regions tied the knot in a colorful ice wedding ceremony, defying the freezing temperatures. This year’s festival, themed “Dream of Winder, Love among Asia,” also highlighted the upcoming 9th Asian Winter Games, featuring iconic landscapes from 42 countries.
