Chinese autonomous taxi become pravelant nationwide

Vehicles developed by Chinese technology giant Baidu are planned to serve nationwide with the autonomous driving services platform Apollo Go. Apollo Go provides commercial autonomous driving services in four cities, including the capital Beijing. There is also a driver for security purposes in the vehicles to intervene in unexpected situations. The vehicles, which were first tested in the pilot areas in the cities determined, are planned to serve widely in the city in the future. The vehicles of Apollo Go will also begin to serve in the cities of Wuhan and Chongqing, in a total area of ​​​​45 square kilometers. Users will be able to call robot taxis to their location for a fee via mobile applications. The company aims to expand its autonomous driving services to 100 cities by 2030.
