Chinese Premier Li Qiang called for dialogue with the US during his meeting with Trump supporter Republican Senator Steve Daines as part of the “China Development Forum” held in the capital Beijing.
“Both sides should choose dialogue over conflict, and win-win cooperation over zero-sum competition,” said Premier Li, adding that he hoped Washington would “work with China to promote stable, healthy and sustainable development of relations.”
CEOs of major companies such as FedEx, Pfizer and Qualcomm also attended the meeting.
