A part of the roof and one of the bell towers of the First Congregational Church in New London, Connecticut, USA, collapsed. No injuries were reported.
New London Mayor Michael Passero expressed his great sadness at the loss of one of the oldest and most magnificent religious buildings in the city center. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
