Buses carrying 156 civilians evacuated from the Azovstal factory in Mariupol, Ukraine, under siege by the Russian army, arrived in Zaporozhye. Mariupol Mayor Vadim Boychenko said in a written statement, “We are grateful to the United Nations (UN), the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Irina Veresuk, for supporting the evacuation organization. With our joint efforts, we have succeeded in freeing the inhabitants of Mariupol from this hell,” he said.
