Clashes Erupt in Serbia as Protests Enter Third Day

Anti-government protests in Serbia entered their third day, with clashes breaking out between demonstrators and government supporters in Belgrade. Police used tear gas multiple times to separate the groups. In Novi Sad, protesters attacked the ruling Serbian Progressive Party’s office, demanding early elections over alleged corruption linked to last year’s train station collapse that killed 16 people.

President Aleksandar Vucic accused demonstrators of inciting violence and claimed the protests were organized from abroad, vowing more arrests. Similar demonstrations were reported in other parts of the country.
