Climate activists from the group Just Stop Oil disrupted the Les Misérables musical in London, unfurling a banner and prompting police to detain five individuals. Four activists even chained themselves to the stage during the incident. The theater management evacuated the audience, halted the show, and offered ticket refunds.
Previously, the same group had disrupted the Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament in July, leading to the arrest of two demonstrators.
