Climate activists throw mashed potato at Claude Monet’s $110M Les Meules

Two climate activists, from the German environmentalist group Letzte Generation (Last Generation), protested Germany’s fossil usage by throwing mashed potato at the $110M worth painting of Claude Monet, Les Meules, that is being displayed at the Barberini Museum in the Postdam city, and glued their hands onto the wall under the painting. Stating that the piece wasn’t harmed thanks to its protection glass, the spokesperson of the museum said that the attack was inacceptable.

It’s stated that the two activists were detained, and that an investigation will be launched against them for trespassing and causing property damage.
