The live broadcast was sabotaged by a climate activist from the Swiss group Extinction Rebellion. During the live election debate conducted by Leman Bleu TV Editor-in-Chief Jeremy Seydoux, an activist wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Let’s Act Together” glued his hand to the platform where Seydoux was. The activist was later arrested by authorities when the glue was removed with the use of chemicals.
