Clouds Blanket Türkiye’s Largest Crater Lake

Mesmerizing drone footage has captured a blanket of clouds descending upon the Nemrut Caldera National Park in eastern Türkiye. Sitting at an altitude of over 2,200 meters, the striking geological site boasts the world’s second-largest crater lake. Time-lapse cameras recorded sweeping cloud movements as they gracefully passed over the vast volcanic crater, its vivid blue waters, and lush vegetation. The caldera transforms dramatically with the seasons, shifting from snow-covered winter vistas to vibrant summer landscapes. Drawing numerous international visitors year-round, the park remains one of the country’s most captivating natural tourism destinations.
