Coast Guard Helicopter Crashes in India: 3 Dead

A HAL Dhruv-type helicopter belonging to the Coast Guard crashed near the runway of the Porbandar Airport during a training flight at 12:10 local time in the Gujarat state of India. The helicopter caught fire after crashing and was extinguished by firefighters. The 3 crew members, including 2 pilots, reportedly lost their lives after being taken to the hospital.

Authorities who are continuing their investigation into the incident said that according to the preliminary investigation, the helicopter crashed due to a technical fault.
