Two cartels in Colombia engaged in combat ahead of football march played nearby. The shootout continued on the football field where 2 people were killed, and 2 were injured. The deceased were reported to be a coach and a side referee.
“The shooutout between members of the Realengo and Villa del Mar cartels continued on the football field as well. The victims were caught in the crossfire. One of them was killed at the scene. Three of them were sent to hospital. One of them died in hospital. The condition of the third person with a bullet wound is serious, his treatment continues. The other two people have been discharged” the Cali Metropolitan Police stated.
