Colombian President Gustavo Petro urged the UN General Assembly to act against what he called the “genocide in Gaza,” accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump of complicity. Petro said diplomacy has failed and children continue to die daily.
He called for a peacekeeping force made up of countries that refuse to recognize the genocide, saying, “Instead of untrained Blue Berets, we need a strong army to stop the massacres.”
