Contagious diseases killed 9 more in Pakistan

Contagious diseases increased the death toll to 318 in Pakistan, adding 9 new cases as of July 1st. According to the data of Sindh state, 9 were killed by various diseases such as acute diarrhea, gastroenteritis and malaria. Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reported that the number of people who lost their lives in the flood disaster that drowned a large part of the country increased to 1,559, 551 of which were children.

More than 2.7 million people have been treated in health camps and mobile hospitals in Sindh since July 1, including the 70 thousand patients treated in the last 24 hours.
